Much needed Seoul searching - fathands3k - 2026-06-28
With Seoul now winless in their first 4 games of the season (including the cup game) panic buttons are starting to be pressed with many fans wondering what is happening to their season. Their latest defeat came at the hands of Masques Sacrés who handed out a 5-1 drubbing to the struggling team who apparently had no answer during the match. With not much between the teams in terms of ability player wise, this game will have opened up eyes as to why Seoul appear to not be performing to the standard they are expecting.
They now sit at the bottom of the table unable to collect a single point, being the only team pointless after Athenai FC picking up their first point of the season on the same night. A minus 10 goal difference in 3 games is concerning if not alarming and will be something to be looked at improving in the next few games. Last season was dubbed a transitional season and it looks like this season is going the same direction based on the results and the fixtures still to come.
While usually you hear the usual "there are still many games and many points available" line with teams in this situation, the performances in the games have left little to no impression as to how this team is going to manage to turn around this bad turn of form. We all here hope they can and we can see the best of this team who have the ability if not the performances...yet.
