S26 Minor League Awards as of right now - CRMO15 - 2026-07-04

Yes, you read right. We are going to do something different. Instead of waiting for the whole season until we finally know who came on top we will take a second and look at the standing the league is in right now. We will take a look at the most lethal scorers, goalkeepers and defenders to have something to compare with at the end of the season. This way we are able to see which players and teams just had a good run and who were consistent throughout the season.

I am going to take the awards from the official award committee. (S25 rewards as reference: https://forum.simulationsoccer.com/showthread.php?tid=10024) This is only for the Minor League D1 and D2. In the future there may also come one for the Major League.

*all awards that are not only based on statistics are totally subjective. Keep that in mind because you may disagree*
*this is done after Matchday 5 of the Minor League*
First we start with:

Manager(s) of the season:

Until now there are two obvious choices for Manger of the season. For one the Team behind Club Sportif Rova Mpanjaka RMP , @Nol15736 , @Bayley and @LtForestPuppy  who are on a phenomenal 5 – 0 run with a +14 goal difference. This makes them by far the best team in the Second Division.

In Division 1 be can see something similar with Association Sportive de Paris Paris who seem to be even stronger. Winning 5 of 5 games and are having a +17 goal difference making them the best team by a mile. The Manager team @Summerstood , @roquefort and @Pyro182 are really showing the League how it is done.

Next we get to the award for Rookie of the Season:

Although as of right now it looks like Alex Peña (@CRMO15 )from North Shore United Football Club  NSU is again trying to break assist records in my eyes he will not be able to continue this form throughout the whole season. So even though Peña is now rookie of he season my prediction is that Jack Pow (@Jack_Pow )from Club Sportif Rova Mpanjaka RMP will be on top at the end of the season.

Next we get to some statistics where bias is completely irrelevant and instead pure statistics are speaking. The Individual awards. For this I am, like the official awards going to split them into Division 1 and 2.

First we start with Division 1:
Golden Boot (Most Goals – 8): Ozzy Trent Kovács @OTK (AS Paris Paris )

Kovács is on a really strong run right now. If he keeps up that tempo he will beat last seasons top scorer by a large margin.

Golden Eye (Most Assists – 7): Alex Peña @CRMO15 (North Shore United NSU )

Last season the most assists were 10. Peña is only 3 short while still having 9 games ahead of him. I think it is save to say he will collect this title. It is fascinating to look at Peña. He comes into the league as a rookie and instantly has such a huge impact. Just unbelievable.

Golden Glove (Most Clean Sheets – 2): Benecio Aguilera III @CROney3 (AS Paris Paris

If we take a look at last season. We can instantly see that Aguilera would need to get 5 more clean sheets in the remaining 9 games to just match last seasons phenomenal 7 Clean sheets. We know that Paris looks to be far ahead of everyone else but I do not believe they are this far ahead to achieve this.

MVP: Silver Tarandus @SilverBlitzenAG  (AS Paris Paris )

4 Goals and 4 Assists in 5 games means you are a versatile threat. If teams deny him his shooting he will find ways to contribute. If they stop his passing he will punish you through the open lanes. A Player this polished is something you will only see once and we have to appreciate his greatness.

Now let’s go and check out Division 2

Golden Boot (Most Goals – 6): Scat Cat @Soviet Sexpot (AF Masques Sacrés   MSD  ) & Hans Grudnar @BOS (CS Rova Mpanjaka  RMP  )

In Division 2 there is no player who is in a realm of his own in terms of goalscoring like in Division 1. Here you got 2 players who were able to climb above the rest because they are above everyone else in goalscoring but no abnormal prodigies. They earned themselves this title, but I would not be surprised if we see some other name at the end of the season. But they both are already at the half point mark to reach last seasons leader Luke Walker who has 12 Goals.

Golden Eye (Most Assists – 5): Jay Cue Jr. @Opera_Phantom  (CS Rova Mpanjaka RMP )

The Assists race is also rather close which again differs much from Division 1 as there are 5 other players within 2 assists of Cue Jr.. Even though he earned himself this title I would not be surprised if we would see some other name here at the end. But If we look at the past season, we see that Jay Cue Jr. got the most assists that season with 10 but I would say we can expect the leader to get some more this season

Golden Glove: (Most Clean Sheets – 2): Rean Schwarzer @Bowl0 (CS Rova Mpanjaka RMP ) & Umaq Yupanqui @Rancidbudgie (Cairo City CFC )

These 2 are the only 2 Goalkeeper in Division 2 to even get a single clean sheet and now both got 2 already. Even though Yupanqui, who is a rookie, had a great start to the season with back to back clean sheets I doubt that he will be able to continue his form because his teams seems to not be strong enough to help him achieve this. Yupanqui showed what he can bring to the table if used right and that is exactly what I saw when playing with him in the Academy last season. Rean Schwarzer on he other hand I expect to at least get 2 more clean sheets because CS Rova Mpanjaka is so far ahead in terms of player quality.

MVP: Hans Grudnar @BOS (CS Rova Mpanjaka  RMP) ))

6 Goals and also helping his team with assisting through 2 assists makes him the best player in Division 2 for now. He is a big part of the reason why CS Rova Mpanjaka is such an unbeatable team right now.

I hope you were able to enjoy this little display of statistics so early into the season.

Until next time!
