Weekly PT #243 - The Final Day - Starscream - 2026-07-19
With the World Cup ending Today and i think with USA, Canada and Mexico it was a good world cup overall. The North American Market and i know as a canadian for myself it was a success overall and i hope it puts the fire in young Athletes. Also it is sad a little bit that this is the last day and Spain vs Argentina will happen later today. Both teams showed great football throughout the tournament and were huge favorites to win the world cup. Crazy story is that Cape Verde had a draw with Spain and took Argentina into extra time needed. Spain has showed almost complete control in all over their games really shows how complete this team really is. The biggest challenge was probably France where the ball % was pretty even overall but Spain pulled through. The other side of the ball Argentina really showed that the game is never truly over until the final whistle. Starting with Egypt game, Argentina was down 2-0 until the 79' Minute and scored again with the 83' minute tying the game and then finishing it at 90+3. Another game was against Switzerland, Argentina dominated the first half and the 2nd half started and Switzerland took over the game until the red card, Argentina was in trouble imo. England match again Argentina strong 2nd half struggling in the first half. One thing i have noticed is that Argentina really doesn't need much space to create chances against the other team and score one and all momentum is in there favor. The final is today like i said i think spain doesn't give much room and doesn't allow alot of chances. With that being said i think if Argentina don't get the first half figured out they are going to be in trouble, Spain showed out the tournament that can handle a 1-0 type game. My Final score is going to be 2-1 Spain beating Argentina in the world cup final.
