Minors league (1 & 2) UPDATED attacking statistics - Jeanious - 2026-07-25 Hello friends, new article new statistics. This time back to the attacking statistics.. And average rating. Also on a positive note, I have fixed most issues in the webapp, I think! Average rating The average rating statistic shows a competitive top group with very little separating the top performers. The difference between first and tenth place is only 0.43, showing us how consistent the league's highest rated players have been so far. Nobody is really pulling away and a bad game and/or good game can still completely change the rankings. Ozzy Trent Kovács leads the standing with an 8.08 average rating narrowly finishing ahead of Silver Tarandus on 8.04. With only 0.04 separating the top two players, there is basically nothing between their performances at this stage in the season. Bob Berendsen squats on third place with a 7.98 rating remaining within touching distance of the leaders. Jay Cue Jr. follows suit in fourth with 7.88 while Eden Empire IV completes the top five on 7.74. This group shows a gradual decline from the real "top" but the differences remain relatively small. The middle of the leaderboard continues the trend of close rankings. Hans Grudnar records a 7.70 while Arsène N'Goussou and Matt Stro share seventh place with identical 7.69(nice) ratings. Scat Cat sits in ninth place with a 7.66 while Nico Lam finishes our top ten with 7.65. Even at the bottom of the list the gap is tiny with only 0.01 separating the final two positions. Overall we have some solid performers that are consistently showing up every match. xG (Expected Goals) The xG statistic shows a clear separation between the league's most (expected) dangerous attacking players and the chasing group. Unlike average rating where the margins were extremely small, the expected goals already highlights a number of players who are expected to have a higher output than other players. The top of the table is controlled by a small group of high volume attackers while the lower half gradually closes together. Ozzy Trent Kovács leads the category with an impressive 10.14 xG, establishing himself as the player with the highest expected goal involvement so far and putting him at (almost) 1 expected goal per game. His total clears him of any other player in this statistic and shows that he has consistently found himself in high quality scoring positions throughout the season. Mikko Rashford II follows in second with 9.50 xG and remaining within close distance of the leader. Scat Cat completes the top three with 8.97. These three players have separated themselves from the rest of the players by consistently getting to the end of (expected) goal chances. Hans Grudnar sits fourth with 8.59 xG, still showing a strong attacking presence but slightly behind the top three. Arsène N'Goussou follows on 7.21 while Lisfor ilovezeagLe is on 7.14 with only 0.07 separating these two positions. The middle of the table begins to show a gradual decline in expected scoring output. Matt Stro records 6.47 xG while Ben Nelson and Luke Walker sit relatively close together with 5.26 and 5.17 respectively. Greg Evil closes out our top ten with 5.16, only 0.01 behind the ninth place. The overall structure of this statistic suggests that there is a clear hierarchy in goal scoring involvement. Ozzy Trent Kovács, Mikko Rashford II and Scat Cat have established themselves as the primary expected goal output so far while the rest of the top ten remains much more grouped together. As more matches are played, the question will be whether the leading attackers can maintain their advantage or if the chasing group begins to close the gap. Shots The shots statistic highlights the players purely based on volume, that does not directly mean it's positive, they could just be a menace to any nearby window. Compared to xG this statistic focuses purely on volume and not on chance quality showing which players are most willing to pull the trigger without giving it much thought. The top of the table features a small group of high volume attackers and then we will gradually see less opportunistic players. Ben Nelson leads the category with 56 shots, establishing himself as the most active shooter in the Minors league so far. This puts him four shots clear of the nearest challenger and highlights his willingness to constantly threaten the opposition goal, or the car windows of the visiting team. Matt Stro follows in second place with 52 shots while Mikko Rashford II and Ozzy Trent Kovács share third place with 50 shots each. We have a pretty clear top group where four players have separated themselves through their attacking volume and regular involvement in shooting activities. Scat Cat sits fifth with 46 shots and remains close behind the leading group and continuing to feature heavily in attacking situations. Arsène N'Goussou follows on 40. Greg Evil records 36 shots while Eden Empire IV sits eighth with 34. The final two places are occupied by Luke Walker and Remi Taarel who both finish on 32 shots, completing a closely matched lower section for this statistic One interesting comparison so far is the difference between this statistic and the xG. A high shot total does not always mean the highest quality chances. Some players are relying on volume while others create fewer but more dangerous opportunities. The real comparison be after we've looked at the shots on target and the actual goals. Shots on target The shots on target statistic shifts the focus from pure shot volume to shot accuracy and the ability to test the goalkeeper every once in awhile. While total shots showed us who is willing to shoot, shots on target shows us the players who are creating genuine goal threats. The top of the table is extremely competitive with multiple players separated by only a handful of efforts. Ozzy Trent Kovács and Mikko Rashford II share the top spot with 28 shots on target each. Both players have been the most consistent at directing their shots towards the goal. They are the most accurate shooters but are being closely followed. Matt Stro follows closely behind with 27 shots on target only one behind the joint leaders for shots on target. Ben Nelson occupies fourth place with 26 shots on target remaining within touching distance of the leading group after topping the volume shots statistic. After these extremely closely matched players we finally see some breathing room. The next tier begins with Arsène N'Goussou on 22 and Greg Evil on 21 creating a small separation from the four players above them, it will be a tough climb to match the top four. Nico Lam sits seventh with 20 shots on target while the final three positions are tightly grouped. Remi Taarel, Scat Cat and Dennis van Huntelrooy(Wow what a fantastic player to be in the top 10 for this and not shot volume!) all record 17 shots on target, completing the top ten with an identical total. Comparing this statistic with total shots and xG shows some interesting differences between volume and actual threats. Ben Nelson leads the league in attempts but does not quite reach the top in shots on target, while Ozzy Trent Kovács and Mikko Rashford II combine high shot numbers with the ability to consistently hit the target. Goals The goals statistic shows the Minors league's most productive finishers so far with a clear leading group separating themselves from the rest of the competition. Unlike some of the previous attacking statistics goals provide the most direct measure of end product, by believe it or not, scoring goals. The top of the table features a small number of consistent scorers before gradually narrowing through the remainder of the rankings. Ozzy Trent Kovács leads the standings with 13 goals establishing himself as the Minors top goal scorer so far. His total puts him two goals clear of the nearest competitor and reflects the strong attacking presence shown across several other statistics we've seen him in so far, including xG and shots on target. Hans Grudnar and Mikko Rashford II share second place with 11 goals each. Both players remain within reach of Ozzy and are right on his heels. Their ability to consistently find the net has placed them as our top three goalscoring threats. Arsène N'Goussou follows behind hans and Mikko closely with 10 goals, becoming our final player to reach double goal scoring figures. Just behind him Nico Lam, Vincent Haye and Scat Cat all sit on 8 goals, creating a closely matched group where small improvements or luck in finishing could immediately change the rankings. Lisfor ilovezeagLe occupies eighth place with 7 goals while Eden Empire IV and Weston McNuggie complete the top ten with 6 goals each. The final positions show a gradual decline rather than a major drop off with several players still within realistic distance of climbing the leaderboard. Looking at this statistic alongside xG and shooting numbers reveals an interesting attacking picture. The league's leading scorers are generally the same players showing up in the xG, shots and shots on target statistic. Goals outside the box The goals outside the box statistic is one of the more specialized shooting statistics focusing on players capable of producing moments of individual quality from a distance. With generally fewer opportunities compared to regular goals this statistic naturally has much smaller totals and a more compressed ranking. Even a single spectacular strike can be enough to make a major impact on the rankings and also on your confidence. Bad Wolf and Chris McZehrl share the top spot with 2 goals from outside the box each. Their ability to score from range has set them apart from the rest of the competition, although with such a low scoring volume, every goal carries significantly more weight. Arsène N'Goussou follows in third place with one outside the box goal. Despite only recording one goal in this statistic his presence continues to appear across multiple shooting categories, further highlighting his overall offensive contribution this season. The remainder of the top ten is made up entirely of players with a single long range goal. Bodhi Grizz, Bob Berendsen, Armero Staple, Alessandro Del Pirlo, Otto Rocket, Owen Goal and Nick Kasak all share the same total creating a large group tied behind the two leaders. progresses. xG overperformance The xG overperformance statistic highlights the players who have scored more goals than the quality and quantity of their chances would suggest. This statistic can reveal exceptional composure and finishing, moments of individual brilliance or perhaps a few situations where the opponent's goalkeeper had a bad day or perhaps blinded by the sun. Unlike xG itself, this ranking rewards efficiency rather than simply creating opportunities. Nico Lam leads the statistic with an impressive +3.45 xG overperformance establishing himself as the most efficient finisher in the Minors in this season so far. His goal output has significantly exceeded what would have been expected from the chances he has had to put up with creating a clear gap between himself and the rest of the competition. Vincent Haye follows in second place with +2.87 while Ozzy Trent Kovács sits just behind on +2.86. The difference between second and third is basically nonexistent with only 0.01 separating them. Both players have combined strong attacking involvement with finishing above expectation. Arsène N'Goussou occupies fourth place with +2.79 continuing his presence among the league's top shooting performers. Hans Grudnar follows on +2.41 while Weston McNuggie and Owen Goal share sixth place with identical +2.39 totals. The lower half of the leaderboard remains competitive. Ekon Ayo records +1.80 while Alessandro Del Pirlo sits just behind with +1.73. Eric Duic completes the top ten with +1.68. Rounding out a group of players who have all managed to outperform the quality of chances created for them. This statistic provides an interesting contrast when compared with xG itself. Some players lead because they consistently are putting up dangerous shots while others rise through exceptional finishing, or luck. Predicted goals The predicted goals estimates which players are expected to finish the season with the highest amount of total goals based on multiple attacking statistics. Unlike the current goals table this statistic will with 100% accuracy predict the future and highlights players who are creating enough opportunities to maintain strong scoring numbers over a larger sample size. The top of the ranking shows a clear leading group before gradually narrowing through the rest of the players. Ozzy Trent Kovács leads the predictions with an estimated 17 goals setting the benchmark for predicted scoring output. His current attacking involvement across goals, xG and shots. Ozzy has established himself as the player most likely to finish the season as the league's leading scorer. Hans Grudnar and Mikko Rashford II share second place with 14 predicted goals each. Both players remain within close reach of the leader and continue to show the attacking consistency required to challenge for the top scoring positions. Arsène N'Goussou follows closely behind with 13 predicted goals creating a strong top four separated by only four goals. This group represents our main attacking threats according to the predicted goals with each player projected to reach double figures by the end of the season. The next tier begins with Scat Cat and Vincent Haye who are both projected to score 10 goals and the last players predicted to score double digits. Behind them sit Wang Zhihao, Lisfor ilovezeagLe and Nico Lam all sit on 9 predicted goals creating a tightly packed group where small changes in form could quickly alter the rankings. Eden Empire IV completes the top ten with 8 predicted goals. Comparing the predictions with the current top goal scorers brings us similar names. Most of the Minors current leading scorers remain near the top proving their output is supported by sustainable attacking numbers rather than simply short term finishing streaks or playing a poacher role. The main question will be whether the current leaders can maintain their chance creation and conversion rates as the season continues. Offsides The offsides statistic highlights the players who are most frequently making enthusiastic runs beyond the defensive line. While being caught offside is often seen as a mistake, a high total can also indicate supportive attacking movement and willingness to stretch defenses and constantly looking for opportunities in behind. The statistic has one clear winner and then it gradually becomes a closer race. Ozzy Trent Kovács leads the category with 29 offsides creating a clear gap between himself and the rest of the field. His total reflects an aggressive attacking approach, constantly looking to get into dangerous positions and challenge defensive lines, which seems to work well for him looking at his goals. Dennis van Huntelrooy follows in second place with 24 offsides, this is probably because he is always 5 steps ahead of the rest of the field, sadly in a literal sense here.  Blaise N'Kufo occupies third place with 20. Both players sit ahead of the next chasing group showing a clear tendency to make frequent forward runs and remain involved in advanced attacking movement Luke Walker records 19 offsides while Vincent Haye sits just behind on 18. The table then becomes a much closer competition with Arsène N'Goussou, Weston McNuggie, Santos Neymarinho and Kim Heung-Min all sharing sixth place with 15 offsides. Dante Von Wolfe completes the top ten with 14 offsides, rounding out the statistic where the difference between the final positions is minimal. When comparing this statistic with attacking output, offsides can often reveal the playing style of certain players. Players appearing near the top are frequently the ones attempting to break defensive structures with runs in behind, although the real challenge is finding the balance between aggressive movement and staying onside at the right moment. Striker impact The striker impact model combines multiple attacking statistics to estimate which players are having the biggest attacking impact in their games. We're not only focusing on who scored the most goals, this impact model rewards a combination of output, involvement and efficiency to identify the players making the largest contribution in attacking areas. The ranking shows a clear separation at the top with one player currently pulling away from the rest. Ozzy Trent Kovács leads the striker impact rankings with a score of 16.84 establishing himself as the most influential attacking focused player in the Minors so far. His combination of goals, chance involvement and overall attacking production has created a significant advantage over the chasing group and he's surely a big asset to his team. Eden Empire IV follows in second place with 14.39 forming the top two alongside Ozzy. While the gap between first and second is noticeable both players are operating at a higher level compared to the rest of the competitors. Mikko Rashford II occupies third place with 12.84 continuing his strong attacking presence this season and remaining within reach of the leading top two. Arsène N'Goussou completes the top four with 11.42. Arsene being the last player to reach double digits. Silver Tarandus sits fifth with 9.22 while Scat Cat follows closely on 8.95. Both remain strong contributors but begin to show a noticeable gap compared to the highest impact forwards. Hans Grudnar records 7.03 followed by Santos Neymarinho on 6.86. The final positions in the ranking are held by Owen Goal (5.57) and Greg Evil (3.96). Rounding out our rankings where the difference between the top and bottom becomes increasingly clear.
