Mpanjaka beat Seoul to be crowned champions - fathands3k - 2026-07-25
In a nervy affair it was Mpanjaka who took the spoils in a 1-0 win over Seoul Mythic and claim the Minors Division 2 title. No one can claim that they are not deserved winners with them only suffering 1 loss all season. Seoul while definitely the 2nd best team on the night made Mpanjaka work for it and showed a defensive strength they will have wished was there in the early season.
With Seoul in no danger of finishing last and needing results to go their way in the hopes of climbing up the table, we will see how they react the rest of the season with their race pretty much run at this point.
They will have been proud of how they handled their business tonight against the stronger opponent, setting up to hopefully steal a goal and defend the lead. Alas it was not to be but a valiant effort. With them now settling in for another season in Division 2, they will start to focus more on the upcoming draft and what value they can find and hopefully pick for the squad. With work to be done on who needs to be promoted, demoted within the squad itself. Until then, let's hope Seoul go full samba football in the last 3 matches and end the season in style for the fans.
