With the season slowly coming to an end, I think the most important thing for this young Inter London team is to finish the season strong and continue to compete and improve. Ideally, they would like to get one win so they can get relegated with their head held high. This week saw Inter London play three matches, but unfortunately for them, the embarrassment continued.
Matchday 9 saw Inter London lose 4-1 to North Shore United. Although the shots and expected goals were relatively similar, the same story continued where only one side was clinical. Arthur Cain got the lone goal for London, with Mendes getting another assist. This was one of Mendes' best games this season, with this being his highest match rating.
Matchday 10 saw Inter London once again lose 4-1, this time to Rapid Magyar SC. This one was much more hectic; Munro and Mendes were both injured in the first half, Jertonghen getting sent off and four other yellow cards throughout the team. Ryan O'Neill was on the scoresheet for London, with Chef Gagne assisting. A real disaster of a game for London.
Matchday 11 saw Inter London lose 4-0 to AS Paris. A really dominant performance from the first-place side, as they outshot London 34 to 8, with 16 shots on target. Kakou definitely had his work cut out for him in this game, a real man of the match performance.
Not much to round up for this week, as London conceded 12 goals in 3 games. A lot of injuries, a ton of yellow cards, and not many goals. I think we're all fed up with the season and are ready to start our off-season.
