Game 13 Preview:
Previous game did not go as planned for Stockholm but with only 2 games remaining in the season they look to take on what might be their biggest test of the year. PS Jakarta has been strong all year and shows no intention of slowing down. Look for this to be a great matchup as the teams look to show the scouts what the future stars of the SSL look like. PS Jakarta is currently at top of the league standings with 31 points and have a 5 points lead on 2nd place. If PS Jakarta can secure a win tonight they will claim the league title for the academy. Stockholm could be tied with 3rd place if they can manage a win over their opponent tonight. Scouts will have a lot of work tonight with about 10 players between the two squads looking to be drafted in the 1st round. Look for both teams to be pushing hard with only 1 game remaining after this match.
Stockholm players to watch: (some of the following does not include game 12 stats)
-Goalie Swiss Cheese is still one of the leagues top goalies and is giving his team a chance to win each game. Let's look for Stockholm to try and score more than just 1 goal tonight like they only managed last match.
-Bonnibel Bubblegum did get a goal in game 11 but not in game 12. Still this player is at top of the league standings for goals.
-Captain Metalbeard is still leading the charge from the back end. Look for him to cover a lot of ground tonight as he still is one of the top players for distance travelled this year.

Match Details:
Minute 11:
The first few minutes had a few more chances for Stockholm, but it was PS Jakarta with the ball in their control soon after. Player Rylakn made a nice cross from the left side into the area but nobody could get initial control. Fish would pick the ball up just on the edge of the box and make a short pass to legend player Chicken who was just inside the box with Adamonis pressuring him. Somehow the player went down and a call was made by the ref. VAR didn't help Stockholm on this one and PS Jakarta was awarded the kick. Goalie Cheese was using his jumping jack distraction but it wasn't enough to fool Fish who would bury a hard kick and get his team the first goal of the match.

Minute 25:
After a few minutes of no action the PS Jakarta players decided to switch the game into high gear. Donnie would take the ball fast down the right flank with only a midfielder from Stockholm trying to cover him. A long hard cross would find Scochnikov who made a great run behind the Stockholm defense and collected the ball and quickly beat the Stockholm goalie.

Stockholm legend player David Brukspatron would be booked for a yellow card.

Minute 35:
PS Jakarta was controlling the ball well and keeping Stockholm deep in their own half. After a corner kick the Stockholm defense could not find their positioning well and PS Jakarta took advantage. Scochnikov would find himself outside the box this time but with room to spare he could make a short pass to Rylakn who was lurking in the box to add extra pressure on his opponent. Once he had the ball he would make a great turn for a shot that GK Cheese had little chance to stop.

Minute 38:
Only a few minutes after scoring the PS Jakarta players were playing with confidence and still attacking the Stockholm end. Although Metalbeard who make a clearance it would quickly find a PS Jakarta player and when Wouters makes a great shot block it again bounces favorably back to PS Jakarta. This time nobody could block the next shot and Fantobens was able to strike another shot into the back of the net.

Minute 52:
In the 2nd half Stockholm started to move the ball with shorter and more consistent passing plays. Moving it through the midfield area between about 5 different players the PS Jakarta team was caught a bit off guard. When Butters Stotch made a pass out to the left flank it looked initially to be directed towards one player but actually would be left alone and allow the 2nd legend player to streak in for a better run. The player would hold up momentarily before making a hard low pass into the box and find Wouters who would easily beat the goalie. Player Wouters can be seen grabbing the ball immediately and running it back to midfield to get his team fired up to score again.

Minute 65:
Stockholm players were playing with a bit more momentum now after scoring and moved the ball fast down the left flank area. With some short passes to get the ball into the middle it would be Wouters making a pass back outside the box to setup Metalbeard for what might be considered for goal of the year. Metalbeard would take the ball and attack down the right before making a fake to the middle. He then would strike the ball to the far post and beat the keeper from a tough angle. Really great setup and finish by the Stockholm club.

Minute 69:
Stockholm goalie Cheese would make a short pass to his legend defense teammate and the player would try to make a short lob up the field to Stotch. The pass however was quite poor and would result in PS Jakarta getting an easy interception. Player Scochnikov would benefit with getting the ball at the top of the box for a really good shot on goal. Cheese was certainly ready though and made an incredible save to bail out his defenders once again.

Minute 84:
Stockholm would have a corner kick which would initially be put out by the PS Jakarta defense but Stockholm would quickly regain possession for another attempt on goal. Dono would use a long cross into the box where it would eventually be gained control at the feet of Wouters. With a nice turn and an even nice shot Wouters would get a much needed goal for the club to try and get back into the game. Wouters once again grabs the ball from the back of the net and runs down the pitch to encourage his team to get another quick goal.

Minute 87:
Stockholm had only a few possible chances remaining but PS Jakarta had just made a nice strike on goal and Stockholm GK Cheese was now holding the ball and letting his team regain their positions. With a short throw to the defender the legend teammate quickly moved the play to Butters Stotch with a short pass. Butters Stotch then turned and made an incredible long ball through to teammate Bubblegum who would be in a great position to strike. A hard blast on goal but PS Jakarta GK Towered was ready to stop the shot and keep his team in front.

Final Game Notes:
This was one of the most exciting matchups of the season and I wish these two teams could have another couple games like this. From the beginning the match looked both close and one sided. Chances were on both ends but PS Jakarta was quick to capitalize on their opportunities. Coming out with 4 goals in the first half would break the confidence of most teams but Stockholm is built with players that fight for the full 90 minutes. Storming back with 3 goals in the 2nd half Stockholm came very close multiple times at the end as well to almost complete the comeback and tie the game. Goalie Towered stood tall and kept his team in a hard fought victory tonight. Even though there was a lot of goals, both goalies looked incredible and gave their respective clubs every chance to win. Congrats to PS Jakarta on securing the #1 position in the standings for the academy season.
