Scott Newman's Academy performance and looking to the future - DarkViper2 - 2026-08-11

With Academy s26 over let's have a look at some of Scot Newman's stats

Caps: 13
Goals: 7
Assists: 2
Distance ran: 165 km
Man of the Match: 2
Average rating: 7.5

This was a very solid season from my player. Finishing tied for 5th in goals scored is nothing to scoff at. Scott took 30 shots and as can be seen above scored on 7 of those for a goal conversion of 23%. I hate bragging, but I think that Scott Newman's play helped Port Royal FC finish 2nd in the table this season. I created him before the start of the academy season started, but I guess I created him a bit late as he was claimed by PRFC, but wasn't in the starting XI for the first match of the season. Scott made his first appearance in the 2nd match which was a 0-2 loss to the champions, PS Jakarta. Newman also created 16 chances and had the chance to get some assists in the final game of the season, but the keeper saved most of his teammates shots. Newman also played a relatively clean game as he was not booked at all this season and he didn't get ejected from the game for being shown a red card. Apparently there's an academy All-Star game and Scott Newman did enough to make the roster

Even though I created a week later than optimal that didn't stop me from earning as much TPE as I could. I was given the goals of getting Scott's pace/acceleration to 14/14 and if possible to 15/15. I also focused on getting his dribbling and finishing up to 12 as that was a secondary goal. I easily hit both of those marks, but it did take some time. I wanted to get pace and acceleration both to 15, but by the time I was ready to do that, the season was pretty much over so I started focusing on baking as much TPE as possible during the off-season phase. I have an idea on where I want my pace/acceleration to be and that's both ratings to 16 once I get drafted by my SSL club. Just 5 more days to see where I wind up

I didn't create some spreadsheet like Rylakn did, I just went in with a plan in my head and once I was given some rating goals that I mentioned above to hit, I out my effort in those. I know I still have other aspects to work on once I'm on my club and I'm willing to put in the work. I plan on continuing making articles when I can as having a decent bank account is kind of important for me if I want to purchase the max amount of seasonal training, even though it's not a requirement. Thank God there's no WT training here because that would have complicated some things. I also need cash to buy more traits as they cost 3M each. Also there a chance a team might want me to swap positions and that costs a hefty amount
