Weekly PT 247 - Spree - 2026-08-16
A personal aim this season had always been to compete; I didn’t put much stock into where we finished, as long as there was a spirit there to fight for as high a spot as possible. Especially coming into the team with my brothers. Well, we not only competed but we truly exceeded absolutely everyone's expectations and got ourselves a promotion through the playoffs.
Managing to be Rova’s only loss in the entire season was an achievement in and of itself, but we didn’t let that get to our heads; we knew that things don’t just drop into your lap, they don’t get handed to you and certainly not when you’re aiming to push in the midst of a rebuild, and ultimately we showed that we truly subscribed to this mentality when it came down to it and it was time to face Inter London in the playoffs with a pretty convincing victory there.
Now we understand that the challenge only gets harder from here, we have some really quality teams in Division 1… that’s how they’ve managed to stay there after all. So we need to get our heads down over the off-season and be ready to go again from Match Day 1 and be ready to push on, nothing says we can’t make a good account for ourselves and look to really cement ourselves as a Division 1 mainstay from now on!
