Welcoming your S27 Squads - IRC/SDG - Rylakn - 2026-08-21
After some initial confusion (players flying to the wrong countries), we are happy to report that all of our players are now assigned to their correct squads. While there is still plenty of offseason training and tactical planning to be done, the initial foundations of the teams are in place. The guys have been given their kits and assigned numbers (where they had a preference). A couple of the players are still dealing with the last few pieces of moving to the club, so once they get settled, we will get them locked away with kits also.
Kit numbers may not mean a lot to many out there, but for some it holds a lot of meaning. I know for me it was a little bit of a joke picking #19, as that is the slot in the draft at which I was taken. Had I not been an AM, I like to think I’d have gone higher. This is an excuse for me to pretend to have a chip on my shoulder about being a 2nd round pick. In the academy I wore number 8 purely because that is the number Rueben Neves wore in the picture I chose for my render. This was mainly to make it easy for Graphics to do some work.

I am very excited to watch the guys run out in their kilts for the first time and see how this season unfolds. I don’t have massive expectations, and know that realistically we are likely to perform poorly based on our very young rosters. The main thing is that we have fun and appreciate the opportunity to represent the new clubs in S27, and of course that we look damn good doing it.
