Tyson Blaze has been drafted and Tyler Blaze has been promoted - GlimsTC - 2026-08-21
Talk about an eventful week! Tyson Blaze's journey to the draft has been pretty heavily documented, but even with all that has been said, never in his wildest dreams did he imagine he'd be going as early as the 7th overall pick in the draft! He even went above all of his idols! It's hard to say for sure what exactly Catalunya saw in Tyson Blaze, but you best believe for the opportunity of a lifetime like this, he isn't going to let it go to waste. Having lived in Germany his entire life, making the move to South Korea to play for the Minor League Seoul Mythic is quite the culture shock for him! And for the first time in his life, he's completely separated from his trainer as he pursues this new path. Of course, the goal is still to make a ton of money and get them out of debt, but for now, Tyson is just happy to be living the dream and focusing on what's ahead! Seoul's already put him to work heavily to ensure he's ready to play like a proper player, and it looks like he'll also be getting a starting nod with the team too! Sticking true to his goal of being a passing specialist, Tyson's going to make damn sure that Seoul's strikers are being fed BIG TIME.
But taking a turn from Tyson, we now look towards his trainer, Tyler. Until now, we only knew of Tyson's trainer as an unnamed bum who was bad at Pokemon battles and got into a lot of debt. But, as Tyson's gone off to go do big things, Tyler realized it was time to go do big things himself! So, using his connection to Tyson, he managed to get himself into the Soccer system as well, but not as a player. Somehow, instead, they were so impressed with the commanding experience that Tyler has had over the course of Tyson's life, that Tyler was offered the role of Academy manager for Port Royal, one of the teams that Tyson had water boy'd against. It's quite the tall task for someone of Tyler's capabilities, but he can't allow himself to be a leech to his own Pokemon! So, heavy into studying Tyler goes to learn how to be a proper manager in this great sport to both hopefully win a lot of games, while also hopefully producing some good future teammates for Tyson to help aid in his career. Only time will tell how things go for the two, but with two massively different paths ahead, both charge forward with a blazing fire in their hearts!
