Meet the S27 IRC Squad - PidgeyDestined - 2026-08-21
Season 27 is the FIRST EVER season for the Ittihad Riadi Casablanca squad, and with new and old faces alike joining the squad, what better way to learn the names and faces than a media piece that I can make a little bit of monies on! We'll start with striker, and work our way back the pitch as we learn who will be playing for this brand new Casablanca squad!

Alessandro Del Pirlo

Class - S13
TPE - 616
Starting us off is a name well known around the league, both for the player as well as the user. Del Pirlo has been around the league for a whopping 14 seasons at this point, and has announced this will be his last. What a great career, and so glad to bring a legend to Casablanca, even if it did take him around 40 hours and a couple more flight than intended to get here. Sorry, again! Del Pirlo will be leading the attack for us this season, and we hope we can send him off in spectacular fashion!

Takeda Takahashi

One of the highest TPE players on the team, we are expecting Takahashi to step in to a vocal leadership role for the new squad. Entering his 7th year in the league, Takahashi has been around the block enough times to understand the effort and dedication needed to excel in the league. This Japanese midfielder will man the left side, where he has been most comfortable in his career to this point.
Jonathon Jameston

TPE - 919
Another player coming over from the expansion draft, Jameston will help man the middle of the attack for Casablanca this season. Casablanca couldn't be more excited to end up with Jameston this offseason and expect him to be a pillar in the organization for a long time! A very strong earner, Casablanca has found their CAM of the future here.
Emmanuel Ofusu

Class - S26
TPE - 505
Ofusu will finish up the attacking front for Casablance, bringing up the right side of the pitch. With 505 TPE earned over their 2 seasons in the Academy and League, Ofusu is well on his way to becoming a stud in the SSL. He may be low on TPE now, like most of the squad, but they should all be rounding into shape around the same time in the next few seasons. Ofusu is a great addition to this young IRC squad.

How many other squads have an Apostle on their team? I'm guessing none! How lucky are we that we were able to pick to grab Peter in the expansion draft! He's even partnered with user The Pope! Double score! Seriously, Pope Goose has been amazing in the locker room already, and we know we hit a home run grabbing him when we could! Another great pillar for this IRC squad for seasons to come.
Curtis Yeager

The bowling god himself, an AMAZING addition to our new locker room! We prioritized activity, and Rampage brings just that! It's been awesome to get to know him these past few weeks (week? I can't remember loool) and he has been a great boon for our squad already! I'm super excited to share a locker room with him for practically my entire career it looks like!

Hi there! It's me! I joined IRC as an AM this offseason in a trade with XLC. I'm unsure if I was worth the 2OA pick (or even the 6OA pick that XLC used on me) but I plan to try my hardest to make sure it was a good move! Saphira will be staying on the left side this coming season, pay no attention to my signature underneath this, and this will be her first season in the majors. With sub 700 TPE I don't expect her to play anywhere near as well as she did in the minors last season, but I'm excited for her to grow with her new teamates, and hopefully become actual contenders in the near future!
Valentin Morgenstern

The first inactive on the squad. With us being an expansion oraganization it would be foolish to think we could fill out our roster with actives in the first season. Morgenstern will fit it nicely until some of our younger users come up. With him only having 700 TPE as a s19 guy, I don't expect him to come back anytime soon, but we would love to have him if he does!!
Aidan Hutchinson Jr.

Another inactive on the squad, but I at least know this username from the other sim leagues! I don't know if that helps the case of them ever returning, but I at least know it's a user who is active on the other sim leagues! Again, I don't expect Hepha to ever come back, but if you do we would love to welcome you in to the new IRC locker room!
Henry Andrews Jr.

Finishing up the back line for Casablanca is Andrews Jr. Although he might not be among the highest earners in his class, abh has been a major boon in the locker room. With our main goal being to become one of the premier locations to play in the SSL, having a locker room presence guy like abh on the squad is HUGE! Also, with him only being a S22 guy, he has plenty of time left on the tires to continue playing for us!

Denis Mobek

TPE - 1179
The second highest TPE player on the majors squad this season will be the goalkeeper, Mobek. With a solid 1179 TPE, Mobek will be a stud in the net for us this season we are hoping! Also, being only S20 gives us a good few seasons with him back there while our newest rookie GK marinates in the minors for a few seasons. Mobek was an amazing expansion draft pick-up, and we couldn't be happier to find as good of a goalie as we did in the expansion draft!
Thank you for reading if you have made it this far! More than likely we won't really be competing yet this season, but we are placing the foundation for a strong future in Casablanca as I'm typing all of this out. Within a few seasons, expect to see our names near, or even AT, the top of the standings!
