Hall of Fame Information - Duilio05 - 2026-08-23 SSL Hall of Fame The Simulation Soccer League Hall of Fame (HoF) was established in S27. The HoF is managed by the Hall of Fame Committee (HFC), which is led by the HoF Department Head. Purpose Statement
“The SSL Hall of Fame’s purpose is to recognize the extraordinary achievements of individual players; this purpose may be expanded to provide recognition of league managers, and league builders (league employees). The Hall of Fame Committee curates and maintains an official process to fulfill those purposes. By extension, from these purposes are the underlying aspects that the Hall of Fame helps preserve the league’s history and inspire future players. Additionally, the league Hall of Fame process provides a framework for individual Organizations to develop their own Team Hall of Fames.”HoF Rules.
While you may disagree with some of the rules, these rules were made in collaboration with several prominent league users and BoD.HFC
The HFC consists of 7 members, plus the department head, for a total of 8 voters.

Each HFC voter shall score each eligible player a tally of 0, 1, 3, or 5 points. Players who receive 25 points or more are inducted into the HoF. Players who receive less than 25 points will remain subject to eligibility rules.Eligibility
Players earn Eligibility once they meet all three criteria: 1) All players in a Draft Class become eligible 14 seasons after the class is drafted, regardless of players' status. 2) A player must have a minimum of 100 Appearances. 3) A player must have earned one of the following:
Players shall become ineligible if they do not receive a minimum number of points for up to 5 ballots 1st Ballot: 10 2nd Ballot: 10 3rd Ballot: 15 4th Ballot: 20 Players not inducted may be nominated after 5 seasons of ineligibility. See Nomination Rules. Objectivity Rules
The HFC and HoF Head shall not consist of more than one quarter (1/4) of members whose players are owned by one SSL organization. In the event that a trade or acquisition of a player results in an SSL organization occupying more than one quarter, one or more HFC members affiliated with that organization shall be replaced in order to fall below the threshold no later than the start of the next season unless additional player movement occurs to rectify the situation.HoF voters shall refrain from voting for their own player or themselves; point requirements shall be adjusted from 8 votes to 7. Any SSL Active User may submit a Nomination for the HFC to consider on the next ballot. Nominations for Players, Managers, and Builders shall be accepted and reviewed by HFC seasonally. All Nominations require a minimum 500-word summary of the Nominee's tenure, achievements, contributions, and relevant stats and data. A User shall not nominate themselves or their players for the HoF. Nominations are only valid for one ballot and must receive the required minimum points for induction, or status reverts to ineligible. Any Nominees not confirmed to the HoF shall not be nominated again for 5 seasons. Link to Submit Nomination >> SSL HoF Nomnation Form << Managers Managers are Users who make significant contributions and impact on the league as a manager of an SSL Team/Organization. For a User to be nominated as a HoF Manager, a minimum of 5 Seasons of Incumbency is required. Each season as an Organizational Manager = 1 Season of Incumbency. Each season as an Assistant Manager = 0.5 Seasons of Incumbency. Seasons as a Tactician are not eligible. Builders Builders are Users who make significant contributions to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of SSL. For a User to be nominated as a Builder, the Nomination requires support from a BoD member. |
