Catalunya top the table after 2 games - fathands3k - 2026-09-05
With the season having kicked off earlier this week, it is Catalunya who top the table (albeit via goal difference) this early into the season. With a win and draw from their first 2 games, all appears to be rosey at the Camp de la Indústria. With many expecting a win against Xelaju Cosmico on the opening day, they managed to chalk up their first win of the season against new major team Dakar. A comfortable 3-0 was thoroughly deserved with the team playing some lovely football throughout the match.
One particular highlight for the team appears to be the start of the season Walker has had up top. 2 games and 2 goals seems to be a good foundation to build the season on and they will hope his form continues as the season rolls on. He seems to be causing teams some issues with him able to get his shots away currently (6 so far) and having been fouled 5 times, meaning he is causing some chaos when he is on the ball. This is giving the team the front man they can believe in to hold the ball, push them up the park when under pressure and put it in the back of the net when given the chance. He certainly has not looked lost so far since being called up to the team, showing that he may not need a season to adjust to this new league and the quicker pace it is played at.
