Stephen Eustaquisquid came out onto the Port Royal FC pitch to the sound of applause, the team was taking the field for the first time this season, with multiple rookies making their Academy debut alongside multiple legends of the Simulation Soccer League. Zee Mir was the first one to strike in the game, coming in at the 5th minute. The ball was originally crossed in from the corner by Zee Mir. But after it ping pongs around, Jay Cue is able to tee up Mir just inside the box and bang that one past the keeper. Unfortunately VAR reviews the goal and it is called back, leaving the game tied at 0. Stephen Eustaquisquid is dished the ball by Jay Cue, who then threads it past a couple defenders back to Zee Mir. With a newfound vengeance against video review, Mir cuts in past a defender and rips it top corner! Grabbing Mir's first official goal not called back from the refs in the academy, and Eustaquisquid picking up his first assist of the academy season. Port Royal FC would go on to take the win, 3-1 after a double by Matthew Mayhem. With Rylee Knock picking up their first 2 assists in the academy. Port Royal FC will move onto their next game hoping to continue their winning ways.
