Weekly PT #250 - Championship - Starscream - 2026-09-06
With the big #250 - i wanted to chat about the championship as we are finishing week 5. Quite crazy already with the three teams getting demoted to the championships those teams are Wolves, Burnley and West Ham. Right now Wolves are in 9th place with 8 points and West Ham is 8 Points in 8th place. Burnley on the other hand is 24th Last Place in the championship. Burnley has 6 Goals for and 12 goals against with a -6 rating, for a big club in the championship sure are getting there asses whooped. In my opinion outside of the premier league maybe not skill wise but this is my 2nd favorite league with how much it changes week to week hardest championship league to get out of. This season is still very fresh and early on and teams are starting to figure out the styles and how competitive they are in the league. One team i do want take a quick look at is Swansea City. Right now after Week 5 Swansea is leading the championship in total points , does this mean much not really but there future next 7 games looks very interesting. The next 7 games looks very make or break type season with i think 5 out of the 7 teams being potential contenders. First game is against Southhampton who has shown great games in the past, Game 2 is against Burnley who personally shouldn't be struggling as much may be a huge game for both teams. Game 3 against Lincoln City should be an easy Win for Swansea. Game 4 is against Norwich who against team boat as burnley could show great games. Game 5 is Against is against Millwall should finished in the top 6 last season. Game 6 is against West Ham at this point of the season we will find out if west ham is the real deal. Game 7 is against QPR at the moment is 3rd place. We going to find out if Swansea is the real deal and can maintain top of the championship playing some real contenders we will find out who the big dogs are in the championship. I am so excited for Football :) .
