Hastily Scribbled Diary Entry - Introduction to the SSL Minor League - Zephyrus1128 - 2026-09-06
Kazeno Kagenori has had a very interesting start to his career as a goalie. Seoul has been a great home for him thus far, but his thoughts lie mainly on the results on the field. His first major test came against Cairo City, whose attack was relentless the entire game. Shot after shot came towards the net and try as he might, he just couldn’t stop all of them. Luckily for him, Seoul’s offense was able to answer the first two goals and tack on a third to get the lead going into the last ten minutes of the game. He felt himself relax a bit, the tenseness of the game finally realized. Though, maybe it would have been better had he not lost focus for that short time. Another Cairo attack came in and though he stopped the shot, he couldn’t hang on to the ball and the rebound went straight to a Cairo striker who buried it in the back of the net. No answer came from the Seoul forwards and though Seoul walked out of the game with a point in their first game of the season, Kagenori couldn’t help but feel like it was a loss, that he literally let the game slip out from between his hands.
