Tex Star and the FC Kaapstad squad started off play in the cup and in minor league 1 rocky. After a solid set of friendlies, the squad loss 2 matches and followed with a draw with AS Paris. Tex as the young buck on the team is feeling disappointed in his recent efforts to help the team capture its first W of the season. Quote saying "it's been an underwhelming start personally for the standard I hold myself to". Tex later added he has complete faith in his teammates and leadership to help get the young squad back on track with it being such a long season. I believe in order for Kaapstad to make a stronger push we will have to do a better job of possessing the ball and finding more quality shots on goal. Also, the key to the offense is Strike Dante Van Wolfe, once we get him going that will open up everyone else to play free and create opportunities as well. Tex looks to still be the top newcomer in his class and help the squad get back on track starting this week. Will Kaapstad capture their first W and will Star shine?
