Back home - McLumberjack - 2026-09-10
After a long trip to Portugal, Bob Berendsen has returned back. Well I say returned back but I have actually flown all the way to Sao Paulo.
I have left the AS Paris blue in favor of the black and red of Uniao Sao Paulo, mixed emotions is the best way to describe how I am feeling.
On the one hand it is an honor to represent this team and I am excited to hopefully continue and add to the success it has already achieved.
However it does sting to leave AS Paris, leaving the place I called home for 4 seasons, where I have had almost exclusively ups, it will be difficult to replicate the success ive had at that Minors team.
But time moves ever forward, no reason to dwell on the past, the future is what is important.
Majors has so far not been too kind to Bob Berendsen. A draw against Shanghai after conceding after 90 minutes. A good win against CDT but then a surprise loss against AC Romana (once again conceding after 90 minutes). It has left USP already trailing the title race and in a short season this could be disastrous.
Nevertheless there is still a lot of season left, we will not give up this easily!
