Walker slays Tokyo - fathands3k - 2026-09-13
Catalunya will be thrilled with their 3-1 victory over Tokyo, in a game that could have went either way. While Tokyo looked dangerous throughout the match, they were unable to match the firepower that Catalunya had at their disposal and ultimately had to accept defeat.
It was another game that the right team won but was end to end leaving the supporters wondering until the final minute if the result was secured. Salazar was without doubt the man of the match, proving unstoppable down the left wing at times and produced two assists. Walker however will get the headlines for scoring two goals, both of them poachers finishes within the 6 yard box and both goals with a similar feel to them. Low crosses and finishing with ease on his left foot.
Walker will be thrilled with his start in the Major division having now scored 5 in 5 games after this latest double effort. He certainly seems ready to take this team to the heights they should be at and had this to say after the match, "It was an open game but we still created the better chances and most importantly finished them. The guys have been superb this season and I have to point to my teammates for giving me the platform to produce in the matches. I've always said that the pass makes the goal, but the goal highlights the pass. We are all pushing in the same direction and I expect big things here come the end of the season. There is something special being created here and I'm loving being a part of it.
