Catalunya took a 4 point lead after defeating rivals Schwarzwalker FV 1-0 in their previous match, ensuring in the first round of matches they are they are unbeaten against everyone they have faced. Things are looking good for the Spanish team with goals being scored at an impressive rate and and not conceding many at the other end. In fact to put numbers on it, they have scored 11 goals while only conceding a meager 4 goals so far. While a strong attack can win you a game, a strong defence will win you a title. More of the same for the second half of the season would be a delight for the fans and organisation, with promotion absolutely now at the forefront of their thinking, with potentially a title as a cherry on top? Who knows, it certainly is looking good for them so far.
They seem in a good place player wise with everyone contributing in some way already this season, working hard for the cause and ensuring they don't let each other down. That is the type of attitude that can define an organisation. Luke Walker has even went on record saying it was without doubt the best Locker Room he has ever been in throughout his career. He went on to say everyone knows what is expected of them, if anyone slacks management gives players the right nudge in the right direction to "wake them up" so to speak. While the atmosphere around the place just encourages you to go that extra mile for the team. We expect big things from Catalunya in the future, this might just be the start of it.
