Goals are the Goal - jacobcarson877 - 2026-10-03
Hey would you look at that, somewhere along this season, I got an assist! Crazy to see that we’ve scored so few goals, and in the same breath, crazy that Carolien Miedema has scored more than half of them. We’ve been doing such a good job with our passing game and have a ton of players represented in the most successful passes chart, and our tackling has been pretty decent too. Problem seems to lie with the fact that we can’t create a chance, and can’t finish a chance for the life of us. I hope to be a part of the solution moving forward, but I’ve got a long road ahead of me earnings-wise and building-wise. It feels crazy that even after all this time, and all of this earning, I’m still only middle of the roster in total TPE, and in that same vein, it’s crazy how long it might take to develop some of our great attacking young players into players that can score us a lot of goals. We’re defensively stacked, and that’s served us well enough moment-to-moment, but no amount of defense will keep you from losing if you can’t eventually score a goal yourself. So goals must be the goal!
