Another Cup Final for Sandro - gucci - 2026-10-07
While it seems that another season has come and passed without CDT winning the league, and fulfilling their ultimate goal. However, Sandro and CDT find themselves playing in another cup final. This will be the second of Sandro's career and he understands the importance of the event, but unlike the last time they won the cup, there is a sense of disappointment around the club about not winning the league despite being the favorites on paper.
They will take on Liffeyside in the cup final, the squad that has found itself in a surprising relegation scrap at bottom of the table in the first division. Again, on paper, CDT will be strong favorites to win the cup and take home Sandro's second (major) club trophy of his career, but they will need to be at their best to beat the Irish side that just knocked off CDT's boogeyman, USP.
Sandro knew that another date with USP was the last thing anyone at CDT wanted to see, and there was a huge sigh of relief around the clubhouse the day that Liffeyside held on to knock USP out of the cup. Sometimes God leaves his blessings on Mexico, and that was one of those days. Sandro knows Liffeyside are no pushovers, and have gotten the better of CDT several times since joining the league. That being said, he knows divine providence when he sees it, and he knows that the cup will belong to CDT once again. He is certain about it.
