All to play for in Div 1 relegation / Div 2 Promotion fight - fathands3k - 2026-10-10
With the Majors Division 2 title coming doing to the last match day, Catalunya will be hoping for a result to go their way to secure the title. With them winning their last match of the season, they have the points on the board and sit top of the table with only CA Buenos Aires able to snatch the title for themselves. With only 1 point separating these two CABA will be hoping that a last match day victory will power them to victory, to the championship and onwards to Division 1. Both teams will be keen to avoid the lottery of the playoff game, with the title bringing automatic promotion.
For the team that is left in the playoff berth, they will either be facing Reykjavik United or Liffeyside Celtic, with both these sides fighting it out between them who will drop to division 2 and who will fight for the right to stay put and live there for at least another season.
Still so much to play for with high stakes across the league tables, it should make for an unmissable final match day when we finally find out who hoists that league title high, who has to play 1 more game to get promoted and which team has to drop down a division after a season of disappointment. BRING IT ON!
