Mixed feelings - McLumberjack - 2026-10-11
So the season is pretty much done, Paris has been crowned champion with 1 match left to play. I am proud of my ex teammates to be able to lift the minors trophy once again. It definitely felt a lot tougher than in previous years but they managed to pull it off.
A little less succesfull in USP, by no means did we have a bad season, we were competing for the title for a large part of the season. We just did not perform in the matches we really needed too, losing some points we probably should not have. Especially losing in the cup against Liffey hurt a lot (extra so because they beat us in the league just before killing our chances there too). However I remain hopeful for next season. I think we have come to a point in the league where you do not need to have the highest tpe at all in order to win. You just need to have a couple lucky breaks and you can be the one lifting the trophy.
Next season we will be back stronger!
Paris will be defending their title and USP will reclaim their spot on the top. Mark my words.
