Friendly....fire before the storm - fathands3k - 2026-11-06
With the new season once again upon us and the friendlies taking place, teams will be looking to see how they will fare in the upcoming season against each other. Of course not many will give away their tactical secrets via a friendly and will in fact try something different just to throw a spanner in the works for the other Organisations and pundits alike.
What many will be wondering is how this off-season has shaped their team, will their moves have taken them to a new level or will they have in fact regressed into obscurity? Has their moves solidified a locker room to fight in the same direction or divided it causing untold pain towards morale? Will they prove to be the underdog of the league, defying all odds and going on a triumphant run towards league glory or even managing to lift the cup? Will they crumble, despite being favourites for the title and end up being the laughing stock of the league? Or will they harmlessly drift towards the end of the season, knowing their squad needs an overhaul and a killer edge via next years draft?
Plenty of questions remain and can only be answered as the season unfolds before our very eyes. Twists and turns are guaranteed but success only arrives for very few. Lets hope it's your team that is holding aloft that trophy!
