Well hello, my name is Budget Busquets and today on the Breakdown, we're going to interviewing an exciting prospect declaring the the SSL S4 Draft.
I would like to introduce Twilight Sparkle! @WildfireMicro

Twilight Sparkle: Hello everyone!

Budget Busquets: Welcome to the second episode of the Breakdown. I'm excited to have you and give you the chance to give the clubs around the league an idea of who you are

TS: And I am very excited to be here! I don't get many opportunities to go on human talk shows

BB: Well, speaking of which, I read you are from Equestria. I'm not really familiar, but I believe is the world/homeland of the My Little Ponies? I'm not really that informed unfortunately. Would you like to tell us a bit about where you're from and how you managed to find yourself in London, England?

TS: Look just call us Ponies. A lot of those shows aren't exactly accurate, but they come close. Also we in Equestria are a constitutional monarchy that spreads power between the Princesses and the Advisors, who I guess are like Parliament. I actually came to London on a diplomat mission for my teacher Celestia, but I fell in love with football and got into after a dare from my friend Rainbow Dash. I joined a semi-pro team and we even won the championship once.

BB: What kind of business does Equestria generally have in England? I've never met a Pony myself until we came into contact. What was life like in Equestria? Did you play soccer there? Or was London, England the first time you were exposed to the sport?

TS: Well we are mostly just trying to make sure that everyone knows how peaceful we are. We tend to not want to get into any conflicts or anything like that so establishing peaceful connections is great for us. Life there was rather peacefuf, and even though we may not be as technology advanced as other nations we tend to believe that we are able to have our own ways of having fun.

Football was available in Equestria but i did not really get deep into until I went to the human world. Still, I do have a bit of an athletic background with some experience in cheerleading and a bit of Equestrian Soccer

BB: Well, as I Catalan, I can understand that. Independence is good and I definitely support Equestrian sovereignty. I think it's incredible how quickly you were able to pick up football and play at such an elite level

I read you started out as a centreback if I'm not mistaken, but you kind of developed more into a wingback if I recall correctly? I guess being a Pony you must be pretty pacy as a player. What made you change your position? Was it a coach that saw something in you or something that kind of just developed out of a need like covering for an injured player?

TS: Well injuries did play a part, as our main winger tore his acl unfortunately in a pretty bad accident. But after a while, I just found that I am honestly more comfortable in that position then anywhere else.

I think one thing that helped me grow better at soccer is just my training with Rainbow Dash who a star Equestrian soccer player for a while

BB: While in London, did you hear about the SSL and Inter London FC from the locals and on tv, or how were you introduced to the league?

TS: Well I went to a lot of Inner London games and tried to try out for them, but I was told that I had to go into the draft instead.

BB: That's awesome! Do you have a favourite Inter London FC player?

TS: Not at the moment.

BB: Well, nonetheless, it's exciting to see a local rising the ranks. I personally hope you can represent London and Equestria.

Are you excited for the draft and are there any other clubs you're interested in joining besides London? There are also going to be two new expansion sides, where would you be interested in seeing a football club?

TS: I'm super excited! I guess I could say all of them. I don't play favorites.

I actually wear a patch of the equestrian flag on my pants

BB: Do you think Equestria could one day have an SSL club?

TS: I would actually say Equestria but travel would be difficult, but maybe Dublin?

BB: Dublin, Ireland would be interesting for sure.

What do you see as your goal coming into the SSL?

TS: To represent Equestria and maybe win a cup or two or more

BB: I read your family is really supportive, are you gonna get them tickets to your first home match? Or are they still back in Equestria?

TS: They attend the games they can be able to.

BB: With the SSL being a inter-gender, inter-species league, do you think it's inclusive to non-humans including a Pony like yourself? Or do you think there is still an invisible barrier for non-human athletes?

TS: Well I've been actually able to insert myself in rather easily. I think with so much inclusiveness in other leagues it just helps. Plus, I can kick the ball just as well as a human.

BB: That's great to hear! I have a lot of awesome teammates myself, but I've never played with a Pony before!

Well, is there any final words you'd like to say?

TS: Wellll just an old Equestrian motto: "Equestria is the land for everyone!"

BB: Wow, I love that. For me, I really love the motto: All you need is a ball and I think it touches upon a lot of the same sentiments

Anyways, thank you for joining me and I wish you luck next week for the SSL S4 Prospect Draft!

TS: Thank you!
