- glowygoat - 2022-05-29 Lukas Weiß, recently drafted by CA Buenos Aires, is known for a few things from his time in the amateur and semi-pro levels of the sport, his size and deceptive speed notably, but his who is the man when he's off the pitch? That deserves attention as well. His home city of Aachen, primarily a center of technology and administration in recent years, boasts a deep and well documented history; one which Lukas hopes to bring back into public consciousness. Prior to his full devotion into football, Weiß studied various points of history, and while he showed a passion for all of them, his own home city always stuck with him as truly important. Throughout his semi-pro career, Lukas donated much of his paycheck to local museums, hoping to keep the memory of what Aachen once was alive. Beyond his devotion to history, Weiß has a passion for stamp collecting, and while he would be the first to admit it's an old fashioned hobby, he would also likely follow up that admission by showing off his prized collection, and noting that it's nothing special yet. While many in the world of football may concern themselves with the newest, fanciest of material possessions, Weiß would be happy with a few choice rare stamps. Lukas' third passion, one which made previous generations of his family rich, is chocolate. While his athletic dietary restrictions mean that he himself eats little of it, his family-owned chocolate factory has been his fallback career as long as he can remember, and while the modern day Weiß family may not be the chocolate juggernauts they once were, Lukas himself considers the process of food production in general a truly impressive art to involve oneself in, noting that the devotion level it takes to truly master the art of a fine chocolate bar is on par with the devotion he himself has had to put into his career.
