Allow me to introduce the first German team to break into the SSL!
Football Club (FC) Frankfurt 05
Motto: Precision, Efficiency, Forward, March!
Kit: Mainly Black and white, Red in thirds
Home is a Black base with white and red triangles dotted all over. Shorts and socks match base. With opposite colour pair of stripes down flanks.
Away kit is reversed, white base with red and black triangles dotted all over. Shorts and socks match base with opposite colour pair of stripes down flanks.
Third is a faded kit running from black at the bottom of shirt all the way up through red to white up near the collar in a blended fade. Collar piece is red as are the arm banding.
Shorts are same as home kit as are socks.
Shield: Black Bull on White background with Red eyes and name bordering.
Club named for the City of Frankfurt, Germany. The 05 is to represent it’s founding in S5.
Bull is an homage to the fact that Frankfurt is Germany’s center of commerce and the site of the country’s stock exchange.
Germany is one of the First Nations to come to mind when one thinks of Soccer or Football even as a casual fan of the beautiful game. Frequently mentioned up their with La Liga, Serie A, and the Premier League, Der bundesliga. So with the SSL looking to differentiate itself from other leagues, naturally it strives to achieve a balance of historical area’s and more unique destinations. To say nothing about the unique setup that is this most international league.
The newly built Stonks Aerodrome has given the team a 15 year lease and, like all German Football clubs, the plan is publicly owned and traded on by citizens living in, and around the city. A lively and large place, landscaped with tall trees and a beautiful park to surround the wonderful area to explore for both old and young fans alike.
