- Canadice - 2022-11-20 League and Cup Champions The final games of the season has occurred and for the first time in league history we have a team winning all accolades in one season. Hollywood FC managed to hold off Sydney City in the SSL Shield at the beginning of the season and Athênai F.C. in both the league and Cup to be able to lift all three trophies. Congratulations to the entire team! Once again the fight for the final promotion and relegation spots was decided on the final matchday, with Adowa Accra FC and Sydney City relegated to Division 2 while Inter London and F.C. Kaapstad will join Division 1 for S7. Special congratulations to Inter London who won the Division 2 trophy with only 1 loss in 10 games. S6 Off-Season Per the SSL Calendar, the final week of the season is designated as the off-season, officially starting on Monday (November 21) at midnight PST. There are a couple of things that are important to remember about the off-season that we want to summarize here. Please see the relevant parts of the Rulebook for more details. Pending FA period Any player that is on an expiring contract (no contract signed for S7) is considered a pending free agent. During the off-season teams may contact a pending FA and negotiate a contract. The player is not a free agent until the start of the next season (November 28) thus they may still sign an extension with their current team during the week without reducing the team's transfer budget. We just make to make one thing clear: A manager may not force a player to provide intent to sign. This week is intended for players to be able to talk to teams and be shown alternatives for how their future may look. Re-rolls and Redistribution S5 (last chance) and S6 players may re-roll their player during this off-season. This is also the last week when S6 players may redistribute 100 TPE and/or their entire positional XP. S56 goaltenders may also use this redistribution to conduct a full re-roll to an outfield player. S7 Prospect Draft We are also gearing up for the SSL Prospect that is scheduled for Sunday the 27th of November at 14 EST. More information and a dedicated link to the draft list is going to be published during next week.
