- Tomat0 - 2022-12-11 Right Going Left Dominik Wilk is left footed. That by itself is already quite a rare thing in the world. What he likes to do however, is use that attribute of his to fake out his opponents. Combining playing left footed with a position on the right side of the field allows him to make moves most defenders are hardly used to and getting past them with ease. Wilk comes from a family of sportsmen, having brothers in both basketball and hockey leagues on many different levels. Though they play different sports one thing they have in common – they are unorthodox in how they play. Dominik is just that – left footed playing right wing. Right going left, making all he passes lost in the play. As you may notice Dominik came into the SSL mostly as an athlete. He’s fast and he gets fast fast. He likes to run with the ball to use that speed, and kicking the ball to get past any defenders he might face. His specialties are quick crosses from the left foot, designed specifically to force errors on his defenders and either get to the goal or set up his teammate with a quick pass. Wilk doesn’t have many expectations. He knows he’s joining at an unoptimal time, but he hopes his unorthodox skillset allows him to play even so. In a brand new league such as this there is space for all to shine, even newbies and realtive newcommers to the soccer space such as Dominik himself. Will his style of play burnout quick, or turn out to be the new hot thing? Only time can tell. For now young Dominik WIlk is focusing on getting to touch the ball at all and to get put on a squad so he can show the world his worth. - omniscius - 2022-12-14 Hey, I'm super excited to see you in the league and I hope you can blaze a new trend of play style in the league. Good luck at Montréal. I feel like it's the perfect spot for you to succeed. |
