The further we go the worse things becoming. 8 games in a we're at 2-6 record. Ok... 2-0-6 record which is pretty much the same because we had no draws. Including cup games. But honestly, now draws mean absolutely nothing for Cairo. Now we have to beat BA, SP and Paris. At least. Maybe even more. With the way the season going, I'm not sure anymore of this is possible. The team is just not doing enough. Elmis is kinda there and not really there at the same time. He wasn't the biggest problem for the most part, but I wish he could be more of a saviour than he is now. In short, things are fucked.
I did check the team finance page (also I couldn't find that stuff in forums so I had to ask in Cairo LR). The team only has 3 players under contract for the next season. Rough. Especially when the team isn't far away from dropping to the division 2 and I'm not sure if everyone is going to be interested to spend their time there. Older players in particular. And isn't the next season the first derpeciation year for S1 players too? I don't think D2 is the place for them to be. So for now Cairo has to pull sort of a miracle and pull themselves out of the bog. Otherwise, things might get really sad.
And yes, Elmis still says fuck D2. Surely not the words Cairo management wants to hear.
