Well, hello again SSL. Long time no see. It's been a while since I open the forum and god I missed this league. The Board, the managers, everyone is so nice in this league. A few months ago, I decided to step back from the league, not because of the users, the Board or even my team. As a young father of a beautiful 13 months old boy, it is difficult to find some time for myself.
Being a father has its own lot of responsabilities. I'm sure I'm not the only one that can relate about that.
I decided to come back as an active player for some reasons. I love this league. I'm a huge soccer fan and when I first heard about the league 1 year ago, I was so excited. I created King Kong, the mighty gorilla goalkeeper. I was drafted by FC Rio back in the days. After a couple of seasons, the team was transfered to Seoul and it became the Seoul Mythic FC. A dream came true for Kong, as he's originally from Seoul! I enjoyed my time with Seoul, with every player and managers. They made me feel like home. I was well treated by the team.
When I decided to step back, the managers were kind with me and they understood my reasons. They always told me that if I wanted to come back, there would always be a spot for me in the team.
I started to think about the league again a month ago. I reached out to Aenir and after a great chat, I decided to come back. I knew I lost my starting position and that Kong would have started regression in a couple of seasons. I decided that it was better for me to start over, especially because I finally found the motivation to be active again in this league.
Guess what? I'm back again with Seoul! As I'm being loaned to Kaapstad, I can't wait to start a new season. I'm so glad to be back!
