I don't remember which one you said Omni, but it's pronounced Athen-I, so the "ai" sound is I. It's supposed to be a romanized version of the ancient Greek name for the city.
Some notes about the form discussion. As the games in the sim happen with like a month in between them, the simmer adjusts all teams to remove all other external factors except the player builds and the tactics.
Questions for the next episode:
- Cairo City and Inter London are in a close fight for the league championship with only two games remaining. 2 points separate the two teams and Matchday 10 sees them meeting one another. Who do you think will win it all? (Athênai has a mathematical chance of winning if they win the two final games by a lot, Cairo only gets one point, and Inter London get no more than 3 points. It would all then come down to the goal differential. EDIT: Already covered on this episode when listening in its entirety...
- The SSL Cup will see four teams facing off in the Quarter Final during next week (week of December 27th). The draw for the cup will hopefully be published by the time you record this next episode, what are your predictions for these matchups?
