- lore - 2023-05-09 Peregrin Plink's season has been largely uneventful. That's not to say he hasn't been enjoying himself, because he has. Getting the chance to meet and play with prospects from across the league is an experience he will never forget. It's just that there's the nagging itch/internal screaming to make the jump up to the big league. All the time. Obviously it's only a matter of time, so he's not stressed out over it, but SSL Red just doesn't scream football quite like Accra FC does. Still, Peregrin has kept his head down and his feet moving, putting in as much work as his body will reasonably let him. As a defender, he's never been the flashiest guy on any team, but he has definitely been memorable. If his scouting report could say only one word, it would easily be 'intimidating'. Not because of his stature (where he is utterly average), but rather for the audible gulp one makes when they receive a pass and look up to see Plink bearing down on them. The same largely applies when he's in possession of the ball. He won't be the one hitting the back of the netting, but he will most assuredly make sure the opposition has little chance to do that themselves. Peregrin is beyond excited to bring that to Accra FC.
