- Thunfish - 2023-09-17 Squall was now hosting his friends back home for the weekend. It turned out to be a boring couple of days before he had to show up for this event he had never heard of that was called a "Comiket" where he'd answer questions and sign papers from that one anime he voiced a character for. So he assumed it'd be nice to get some time to relax before participating in such an illustrious event. Squall: Rup. See the big problem we have right now? Mike: I don't know what you're on about, it's a perfectly functioning PlayStation 2 and a... totally legitimate Tony Hawk's Underground copy presented inside a USB. Squall: Yes. But you see, Tony Hawk is a skateboarder, yes? Mike: Believe so... he did participate in many skateboarding tournaments and all. Squall: So why am I playing as a girl called Daisy and why am I driving a car in Manhattan? A burning car, to be precise. He couldn't fathom those controls as much as he tried. The more he tried, the harder it seemed to get to control the damn thing. The skateboarding part was perfectly sound by all accounts, it was when the game decided to have some brilliant ideas that things went awry. And the funny thing was that he had people watching over him in spite of that. He could feel the presence of the twins who ran the club's fan blog over his shoulders, taking notes for a feature article of sorts. Ginger was around, having brought her husband along to spend the day there. A peculiar little family of sorts... watching him screw up. Mike's laughter didn't help. |
