HIRED: BoD Members and Interns - Canadice - 2023-12-18
BoD Member Three long-term members of the BoD has recently stepped down and we are in search for new members to fill the 9 member board. Thank you to @Vaxlare, @RashfordU, and @thevoicelesscreator for your time as a BoD member and everything else you've helped out with around the league during your tenure.
A BoD Member is expected to maintain the day-to-day upkeep of the SSL (both the league and the forum), be active and up to date on league discussions, take part in votes about adjustments to the league, discuss and take action in regards to disciplinary measures. The BoD Member is also expected to pursue the betterment of the league over any individual.
Examples of day-to-day upkeep of the SSL include:
- Approving Players
- Organizing rule change proposals and facilitating discussions
- Checking organizations / individuals to ensure rule adherence
- Hiring people for open positions
- Helping out other departments when needed
BoD Intern Board Interns are given a lighter and more specific individual workload than full Board Members (for example, handling player approvals or inputting the results of the games in our schedule) with the opportunity to take on more work as necessary/desired and will have the opportunity to get a taste of internal Board discussions. Interns will serve a one-season term. The intern position is intended for users without significant league experience to gain that experience and determine whether Board work is something that interests them long-term (likewise, if you apply for a Board Member position but we feel you may be short on experience, we may offer you an intern position instead).
Payment Pay for Board Member is 6 Capped TPE each week, $2,000,000 per season.
Pay for Board Intern is 6 Capped TPE each week, $1,000,000 per season.

Please also include in your application one or some of the areas of the day-to-day upkeep you feel your skill set would be best put to use. If you are applying specifically for Board Member/Board Intern and do not want us to consider you for the other position, please mention that as well.
