We caught up with new Tokyo striker, Franco Torres, to get his thoughts on the upcoming pre-season.
"Ya, I think it's been really fun getting to train with my new teammates. I think everyone is super nice and it seems like we're all in great shape heading into the season. I like the drills we do here and think I'm in very good form. I heard recently that I was awarded the MVP for last season. I think that's my third one? Let me tell you, you don't get used to winning those things. It feels just as good as the first one. Oh also, I made the team of the year again. That's what now, five? Plus that one as an alternate.
My goal coming into this season is to get at least 10 goals. I don't know how many more seasons I'll get to be at the top of the league in terms of scoring, so to keep adding to my seasons of 10 or more goals is pretty neat. I've got ten of those, I think. I'm not sure who's close to that or if someone has more, but I'm pretty pleased with that.
