Getting used to the League - Tsunny - 2024-03-31 It is safe to say that Clara's first game may have set an impossible set of expectations. Sure she did not expect to score 2 goals and give 3 assists every game but she was hoping she could at least keep to 1 G/A every game. So when she had a few setbacks including a knock that would force her to be subbed off of one of her games early, it's safe to say she was not happy about it at all. However thankfully she did not have to sit out any games as it wasn't a serious injury and as her father used to say all the time when she got upset at a younger age, those setbacks are all part of the game. What is important is how you tackle them. And those words are something she recalls every time she has a setback. So she did just that right now as well. And of course, her goal of averaging 1 G/A every game was still very much possible due to that outstanding first game she had. So she just got her head down and started working hard like she would always do whenever she was struggling. She felt it helped her to train more and just forget about those issues. Most of the time they would be solved by themselves as well. And of course as a bonus during those trainings, she would start to develop a rather good chemistry with one of her teammates, her captain Zhihao Wang. The pair would often do any training that required them to form a pair together and would even start to open up to one another more and more as time went on. Clara was really thankful for it as she had someone she could lean on in what could become a turbulent first season at Montreal. However, she is up for the challenge and she is ready to do whatever is necessary to have a season as successful as she can have. (336 words) |
