A Shoutout to the TPE Leader - G2019 - 2024-11-23 As someone who newly rejoined the league, I needed something to write about for my Academy Task #3, so I figured I'd check out who the current league TPE leader is and wax poetic about them for a bit. That player is none other than sim league vet @hhh81, whose player, Momo Adamu, is a left wingback for the legendary Tokyo SC. The Nigerian international sits at 2045 TPE, and also has positional experience at right wingback, center back, and left back. His traits, "Plays No Through Balls" and "Does Not Dive Into Tackles", show him to be a no-nonesense kind of defender. His game revolves around his physical abilities, with 20 acceleration, 20 jumping reach, 20 stamina, 19 pace, and 18 strength carrying the load for his play. Other peak ratings include 20 anticipation, 19 positioning, 19 marking, 18 heading, 18 concentration, and 18 decisions. Last season, Adamu made 21 appearances, with no goals and 1 assist to his name, further reiterating that no-nonesense defender moniker I bestowed upon him earlier. He was a solid passer, completing 1517 passes for a 92.27% clip, including 6 key passes. He also succeeded in 179 headers for 87.75%, with 22 key headers. He won 22 of 29 attempted tackles for a 75.86% clip, including 9 key tackles, made 70 interceptions, 37 clearances, only 2 mistakes leading to goals, and blocked 16 shots. The overall match rating average was 7.11, which seems a bit harsh, but probably is mainly reflective of the limited offensive contributions Adamu provided. All in all, the league TPE leader definitely has the talent and drive to continue being a leader on the Tokyo backline for seasons to come! |
