New Beginnings - r1c3bowl22 - 2025-01-11
Kim Heung-Min is the new kid on the block. Eager to show everyone what he's got, the youngster is training in Korea preparing for the S19 Simulation Soccer League Draft. We caught up with him to get his thoughts on the coming days.
"Of course I'm nervous. There are a lot of strong players here. I'm used to being the best in my age group and the teams I've played on but I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle of the pack here. I'll have a lot to work on to prove to the others that I can hang around and even surpass them. I consider myself very lucky to have found a very strong team backing me. My manager once worked with an SSL legend, Franco Torres, so I know that I have solid people behind me. Hopefully I can continue to grow that partnership into something great and become an SSL legend in my own right.
I've been working on my game, trying to shore up some weaknesses here and there, hoping to be picked sooner than later in the draft. However, I'll be very happy wherever I go because I'll know that I'm going to a team that wants me and that team should be happy with me knowing they just picked up a future star to join their ranks."
