GRADED: GRADED: Millwall awaits rookie season - stevo - 2025-02-04 It was a long summer with the World Federation tournament postponing the start of the S19 regular season for a good bit. One player who did not have much reason to complain about this was German midfielder Cameron Millwall. The defensive midfielder, recently drafted eighth overall by Schwarzwälder FV and set to spend the foreseeable future with the minor affiliate Montreal United, was - understandably- not capped for the Middle European countries. Instead, he spent the drawn out summer months working on his game. And work on it he did for sure. While scouts have not seen a huge uptick in his athleticism, which would have been to be expected at his age, he rather came into training camp with a truly sharpened mind. Much more composed, a whole lot less mental lapses, he's shown a way higher determination and effort on the field. As he makes the transition from Academy to pro football, he will be tasked to hit the gym hard to become more of an athletic specimen. For the time being though, it will be reassuring to for the organization's coaching staff that they have a rookie able to jump into play at any point without too many risks attached to him. Millwall is excited as he's looking forward to nakung his debut with Montreal United. |
