GRADED: GRADED: Day in life of Stefan Davidović - Vinnie After Hours - dsr1338 - 2025-02-17 My alarm goes off at 3 AM. Quick breakfast, nothing fancy, just enough to fuel the morning. It’s still pitch black outside, the streets are empty, and the only sound is me getting ready for another brutal session. There’s no snooze button when Vinnie f*****g Jones is in charge of your training. By 4 AM, Vinnie f*****g Jones is outside my place. He doesn’t knock, doesn’t text, doesn’t honk. He just waits. If I’m not out on time, he drives off. No excuses, no second chances. I was late once—never again. We start training with stretching. Nothing crazy, just making sure I don’t pull something during the real work. Then comes cardio. We run around South Istanbul, covering way more ground than I’d like at this hour. This is supposed to be a “light” session since we have FC Istanbul team training later, but Vinnie’s version of light is still intense. After the run, we move to individual drills. One-on-one battles, cone exercises, footwork, positioning—stuff I’ve done a thousand times but never good enough for Vinnie. Then comes the worst part: “Mental Toughness.” That’s what he calls it, at least. In reality, he barks instructions, corrects my posture, calls me out when I mess up, and sometimes just insults my haircut for good measure. He says it’s about embracing confidence without arrogance. I think he just enjoys being a grumpy old man. Once that’s done, we grab a quick meal before heading to FC Istanbul training. This is more structured—team drills, tactical work, and strategy discussions. After that, we hit the gym for another session. Most of the guys go out after training, relax, enjoy their evening. I go home, eat a healthy dinner, and crash by 8 PM. Why? Because Vinnie f*****g Jones is picking me up at 4 AM again, and trust me, you don’t want to be unprepared when that happens. Maybe that’s why I don’t have a girlfriend. But it'll be worth it... right? |
