After a lackluster start to the season for Cataluna, Fry reflected on the season to date. He has been splitting time with Red Panda, an older player who without the wear with all to hold onto the left winger position. Fry has been showing up late to practices, games, and especially media events. "I'm just here so I don't get fined."
Management for Cataluna is already looking forward to the next season... Which is unfortunate. We are still playing well, competing well, and our team leadership has gone to the bar for the second half of the season. Disappointing.
Further. An upcoming expansion draft has shaken the ranks of the faithful in Cataluna and Seoul. Loyalty tests have been emailed to all the players. Those who do not replay quickly enough... Not protected. Fry has personally received an invitation to play out of position for the rest of his natural life, with the lackluster offer of a career of mediocrity. Insufficient. As someone who lived near Seattle in real life, I had to laugh when I saw the Marshawn Lynch reference. The rest of the article was an amusing read and a fun take on what will be coming up. An expansion draft is always an interesting proposition for a player to face and it sounds like Fry is going to take it on in his own special, unique way.
