Tathille's wet balls. - Draz0000 - 2025-03-09 The following is a transcript of a conversation reportidly overheard by Adowa Accra defenseman Draz Tathille. The source wished to stay anonymous and it's unknown who Tathille was talking to and what, if any, substances he had previously consumed. Tathille: You know how some teams have strange field dimensions, or the stadium is shaped strangely to annoy the away team, all to give the team that's more familiar a bit of an advantage at home. *Pause* Tathille: They're thinking small time. Why don't we mess with the ball instead, way more impactful. *Pause* Tathille: Dude, I'll be fine! Think it through. There's humidity in the air, and therefore there's already water in the ball. Now there's rules for the pressure in the ball, but I've checked our rule book. In fact, I've checked every rule book I could possibly find. There is no rule for how humid or wet the air inside the ball has to be. We'd just be filling the ball with 'super humid' air. *Pause* Tathille: Don't be such a downer, if we all practice with the ball we'll learn the tricks in no time, I can already tell you that you get some nice curves if it's between a quarter and half full. And imagine going for a header thinking the air in the ball is dry, but it's half full of water. OUCH. I tried it a few times, but I knew what I was dealing with. If my iron dome didn't like it, you think those with nominal craniums will? *scoffs* *Pause* Tathille: Dude, if you don't at least try out the wet ball with me, I'll empty it's humid 'air' all over your mattress. Wow, what an interesting conversation. It's not every day a young tallent has such novel ideas to improve his club, but perhaps someone should keep an eye to make sure Tathille is safe, and if you're one of Accra's upcoming opponets, you might want to get your balls checked and weighed. |
