GRADED: Not Another Brazilian Wonderkid - gucci - 2025-04-16
By way of the isolated beaches of the city of Natal comes the SSL's newest wonderkid. Sandro da Silva, a pacy wingback has been making waves in the academy with his mazy marauding runs up the right wing and his whipped in crosses. He's been drawing comparisons to a young Gareth Bale for his ability to push the ball into space and leave defenders in the dust in the process.
His academy manager was absolutely shocked the first time he met him. "The lad took on the whole team at tryouts dancing past challenges and into the opposing box like a winger before sprinting back and dispossessing every attacker on his side of the field. There's no limit to this lad's potential."
When asked what his goals are for the future. He said he'd love to bring glory to his country, his continent, and his club. He said (paraphrasing) he will bask in the light of God and bestow his God given gifts in the form of nutmegs and crosses that are dropped on a dime.
He acknowledged that hard work was a part of his success, but credited God and the very samba in his blood for his great potential. This lad is Jogo Bonito personified.
