- spooked - 2022-02-12 In the romance arena of Montreal's Coffee Biscuit, there are only two things that stick together forever. Coffee and their companion biscuits, biscotti, cookies, pastries, and breakfast carbs. Coffee is an international good, that is loved world over, and it is no secret that Coffee Biscuit must be a big coffee guy, having a name like that. We sat down with the player for an exclusive valentines themed interview to discuss what life is like in Montreal for Coffee, as well as see if he has any plans for the romantic day! Q: Coffee, as this is your first season in Montreal, welcome to the city, how have things been for you here? Do you LOVE it here? Anything that bothers you perhaps? A: I absolutely love it here. Although I do miss the food, weather, and family back in Italy, there is a fairly strong Italian community in the area that has adopted me so to speak, and helped me find some of the goods that I used to find back home. I haven't had anything too bad so far, the weather is of course awful here in the winter, but we have some good indoor training sessions in Montreal and tend to take it easy when the weather is not so good for training. Q: With you being new to the country, have you found a new love? A: I may have run into a local woman who makes a good pasta haha... no, but I am not really comfortable yet in the city so I have been fairly alone at this point. Maybe soon there will be a Mrs. Biscuit or Mr. (wink). I am just trying to stay focused and establish myself in the league and don't want to have too many distractions right now. Finding my way around the city and getting comfortable here will take a little bit more before I can spread my mind a bit more. Q: Last question, with valentines coming up, is there anything you look for in close friends or partners that you find extremely important? A: Yeah, I think people need to be good first and foremost, they must be nice people to be around and not too self-centered is another thing. On top of that having an interest in food and drink is probably the number one things I would like for on the interests side of thing. I like to explore and travel a lot, and food and drink is one of the best ways to get into a culture! 419 w |
