GRADED: Millwall honors Pedersen's veteran leadership - stevo - 2025-05-11
As the Montreal United fight their back into the leadership group at the top of the SSL's minor league standings, German midfielder Cameron Millwall is taking his time to improve as a football player each and every day. The growing pains are noticeable for him as he tries find ways to influence the game in ways beyond pure scoring numbers. It certainly helps that he shares the locker room with SSL legend Tom Pedersen who is playing in his fifteenth season as a professional.
Millwall recently highlighted the positive influence Pedersen has on him, and the whole team in general: "I could probably talk hours and hours about the things that Tom has taught me. It starts with all the little stuff, training regimens, diets, just the way that he approaches life as a professional sports player. Coming into the SSL I thought it was just about the hours you put in on the green - but it's so much more than that. I can only thank him for taking me under his wings, showing me what I need to do in order to vastly improve the longevity of my career. I hope to learn a lot more from him before this season comes to a finish."
