ESPN: CB Millwall is not pleased - stevo - 2025-07-25

Cameron Millwall will be tasked to play in the backline of his team's defense going forward, and it's not something that the German midfielder is taking with a light mood: "Fucking hell, they've got to be kidding me" was apparently his first reaction upon learning this from the coaching staff, according to an anonymous report referred to ESPN. The decision has caused friction between the players' camp and the Montreal United organization, with Millwall seriously reconsidering his future with the Canadian side.

The German has usually been filed under team-friendly, but reportedly is irked that he should play in the backline after firmly stating that this is the one thing he does not want to do during pre-draft interviews. His agency has represented a centerback (Abdoulaye Camavinga on F.C. Kaapstad) before him, and it turned out to be a complete fiasco - with no need for a repetition of that scenario whatsoever. "We simply want the best for Cameron," his agent stevo said, "and we certainly don't think that playing him in the backline is in the best of his interest."

It's going to be an interesting story line that we will see play out right before the public eye. The player employing his agency to turn up the pressure on his organization usually indicates an intricate amount of displeasure.

Civil unrest? Trust the process? up to you to decide.

Clear cut article that satisfies the criteria, although I would say with this kind of article you could get away with making it a longer one to really share that dissatisfaction, still it's presented clearly and follows a easy to read narrative.
