Corporeal Shakeup - jacobcarson877 - 2025-10-21

It always gets me a little twitchy when I don’t have enough cash on hand to immediately buy my Seasonal Training. There’s something about the rollover, and the big chunk of TPE landing on your plate that just feels great. Now of course, doing it that way means that you have to have a lot of willpower throughout the season to build your bank back up in anticipation of the following season, but that’s show business baby!

I’m also anticipating moving some TPE around this offseason. Somehow I’m always surprised when I walk into a sim league and the meta is “go fast”. I spent a bit too much of my time watching my player fail to perform technique, when instead I should have been focusing on trying to get more opportunities. Efficiency is important when you have volume, but volume at even the lowest of efficiencies tends to have a greater impact. Be that shooting, passing, tackling, it’s just better to get there first, or in this case, to not get there last. Then usually it’s avoiding bad outcomes. Making sure that you don’t make the wrong, or the undisciplined decisions. Giving the ball away is not only not a positive, but could be a costly negative. Committing a foul isn’t great, but committing a foul in the box is deadly.

Depending on how much TPE I can get this offseason, I might shift some of my existing TPE over, or if I have enough, I can just add to what I have now. All I know is I need to be in the play more often!
